User Profile
The User Profile page displays your account information and session details in Hydden.Control. Access your profile to verify your identity, check your assigned role, and confirm your tenant association.
Accessing Your Profile
Click Profile at the bottom of the left sidebar to open your profile page. The profile icon appears alongside the logout option in the user actions section.
Profile Information
Your profile page displays the following information:

| Username | Your display name as provided by your authentication provider |
| The email address associated with your account | |
| Tenant | The organization (tenant) you are signed into |
| Role | Your assigned platform role determining feature access |
Understanding Your Role
Your role determines what features and data you can access in Hydden.Control:
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Full access to all features including settings, policies, enrichment, and user management |
| Reviewer | Access to campaigns, applications, and AI search with ability to make review decisions |
| Auditor | Read-only access to campaigns, applications, and AI search for audit purposes |
| User | The default role for users without any assigned permissions. The user may use the Request Access dialog to request a role from their instance administrator. |
Session Management
Signing Out
To end your session:
- Click Logout at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Your authentication token is cleared.
- You are redirected to the sign-in page.
Session Security
Always sign out when using a shared or public computer to protect your account.
Session Duration
Your session remains active while you use Hydden.Control. Sessions use the following token durations:

| Access Token | 1 hour |
| Refresh Token | 24 hours |
If your session expires, you are automatically redirected to sign in again.
Customizing Your Experience
Theme Preferences
Customize the visual appearance of Hydden.Control:
- Navigate to Settings > Preferences (available to all users).
- Select your preferred theme:
- Light Mode - Light background with dark text
- Dark Mode - Dark background with light text
- Your preference is saved automatically.
Theme preferences are stored in your browser and persist across sessions. If you haven't set a preference, Hydden.Control respects your operating system's theme setting.

Profile Data Source
Your profile information comes from your authentication provider:
- Username and Email - Provided by your identity provider (Entra ID, Okta, etc.)
- Tenant - Determined by your organization's Hydden.Control configuration
- Role - Assigned by your Hydden.Control administrator
To update your username or email, contact your identity provider administrator. To change your role, submit a request through your Hydden.Control administrator.
Troubleshooting
Profile Shows Incorrect Information
Cause: Information is cached from your last sign-in.
Solution: Sign out and sign back in to refresh your profile data from the authentication provider.
Role Not Displaying
Cause: No role has been assigned to your account.
Solution: Click Request Platform Access in the access request modal, or contact your administrator to request a role assignment.
Cannot Access Settings or Other Features
Cause: Your assigned role does not include access to those features.
Solution: Review the role permissions to understand what each role can access. Request a role change from your administrator if needed.
