What Preferences Are

What it is: The Preferences page lets you personalize your Hydden.Control experience. Choose your display theme and select which columns and detail sections appear during campaign review.

Why it matters: Every reviewer works differently. Customizing your view reduces noise and keeps the information you use most front and center. Preferences are saved to your account and sync across all devices you sign in from.

Required role: Available to all authenticated users. No administrator role needed.

Change Your Theme

  1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences.
  2. Select Light or Dark.
  3. The theme changes immediately and saves automatically.

Campaign Review Customization

Control which fields and sections appear when you review accounts in a campaign.

Account List Fields

What it is: Choose which columns appear in the campaign review table. You can select any combination of fields from six categories.

Required columns: User and Review Status always appear. You cannot hide them.

Default columns: User, Risk Score, Privilege Level, Risk Signals, Application, Activity, Owner, Review Status.

Customize Account List Fields

  1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences.
  2. Under Campaign Review, find the Account List Fields section.
  3. Use the search box to find a specific field by name or category.
  4. Check or uncheck fields to show or hide them.
  5. Click Reset to Defaults to restore the default set.

Result: Your column selection applies immediately the next time you open a campaign review.

Detail Panel Sections

What it is: Choose which sections appear in the account detail panel when you select an account during review.

Customize Detail Panel Sections

  1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences.
  2. Under Campaign Review, find the Detail Panel Sections area.
  3. Check or uncheck sections to show or hide them.
  4. Click Reset to Defaults to restore the default set.

Result: The detail panel shows only your selected sections during campaign review.


How Preferences Are Saved

Preferences save to your account on the server. They are not stored in your browser only.

TIP

Theme is also cached in your browser. If you have not signed in yet, the app reads your browser's cached theme until your account preferences load.
